Maths – Key Stage 1
This selection of educational games are designed to help children learn and practice skills that are defined in the National Curriculum for Maths at Key Stage 1.

Counting
This game is for counting up to 10. It displays a random number of objects which the child has to count and then type in their answer.
It will give feedback for each question, giving the correct answer if they get it wrong. The game will ask as many questions you would like and keep a running score on progress.

You are given the task of moving a number , up to ten, of treasure chests onto the pirates island. A running score is kept of your progress.
The objective is to place six objects in the correct order from a set of 8 clues. Some clues are easy, some are more difficult and you will sometimes have to look back at earlier clues when you have placed some of the objects.
Telling the Time
You can choose from 3 levels. Level one is for hours. Level two is for hours and half hours. Level 3 is for hours, half hours, quarter to and quarter past. When you start a time is displayed on the clock and you are given a choice of 4 times to select the one matching the clock. A score is kept of how well you did.
Matching Words to Numbers
This game has 4 levels and is to help you match words to numbers. A number is displayed in the centre and then 10 numbers appear randomly on the screen. Click on the number that matches the middle one.
A laser shoots at a line of boxes and turns some of them red. You have work out what fraction of the boxes are red. A score is kept of how well you did.
Capacity
Water is poured into 4 tanks but are filled with different amounts. You are then asked a question about their capacities. For example you might have to identify the tank which is half full. A score is kept of how well you did.
